U of M - South Quadrangle Renovation

At the University of Michigan, the South Quadrangle renovation and addition began in the winter of 2013. Approximately 106,700-square-feet was renovated, including the ground and first floor. The project expanded student dining facilities and updates to bathrooms throughout the building. Infrastructure improvements were made including, new plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, fire detection, and suppression systems, and accessibility.


The $60 million project also includes a refurbished loading dock, storage, kitchen and commissary on the lower level. Intentio provided building information modeling for the mechanical systems for all renovated and new construction areas. The project was completed in the summer of 2014.
