U of M - Biological Science Building

University of Michigan’s new Biological Science Building is approximately 300,000-gross-square-feet. "Science on display" is a key term used to describe the visual aspects of the university's new $261 million Biological Sciences Building. The building houses research laboratories, associated support functions, offices, classrooms, vivarium services, and four museums.

Coordination of mechanical piping, plumbing, and lab piping for this substantial space allowed Intentio to demonstrate their extensive experience with MEP BIM and BIM coordination services. Intentio’s model helped to create clash reports, monitor potential problem areas, and collaborate with all trades for a seamless installation. The Biological Science Building opened in 2018.
