Oakland University Engineering Center

The new home for the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Oakland University features state-of-the-art classrooms and research space. This 127,000-square-foot facility serves as the heart of the Engineering and Computer Science community at Oakland University.

Construction began April 12, 2010, and cost $62 million upon completion in 2012. Due to the success of the environmentally friendly design, it was certified as Michigan’s first in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum University Buildings in 2013. Intentio Innovations participated in the project, providing BIM services for the plumbing systems for the new building.
